He is risen!
I bought resurrection eggs from Amazon this year and we started our new Easter countdown tradition! Cory, of course, soaked up more of it than Easton, but I was surprised how much Easton could explain, it was pretty precious.
Easter morning: We woke up and first finished up our resurrection eggs. Cory had been waiting 12 days to see what was in that egg! I read the passage and opened it slowly....and he was like, "What?! They forgot to fill the egg!" It was so fun to explain WHY it was empty, and hopefully made the holiday more than just an Easter basket. We didn't even bring up the Easter bunny.
After church we had some time before the family got together to have an Easter meal and egg hunt. What better to do than pull out the stomp rocket and have a silly string war in your underwear?

Cheesin' before the egg hunt
Can you tell Pam just had a baby 8 days ago? No- we can't either. She actually hosted the Easter meal at her house, and didn't miss a beat! Braver than me. :)
After the egg hunt, Grandma and Grandpa came over with some special "non-candy" Easter baskets for the boys. They know me too well!
But of course Uncle Daniel hooked 'em up with some REAL stuff!
Sweet cuddles before bed.
Happy Easter!
